The Summer Scavenger Hunt for the Racine Camera Club

So, as President of the Racine Camera Club, it was up to me to create the list for our Summer Scavenger hunt. Here is a list of what the club members need to have done before our first meeting in September of 2015!

Scavenger Hunt Topics:

Make ol' Blue Eyes proud

Frank Sinatra recorded over 1,000 different songs. Use the title of one of them as your inspiration and image title. Please don't use "New York" or "Chicago".

''Shrooms!

Whether in the yard, at the park, in the store or on the couch, show us your best mushroom.

DROP IT!!!

A Weapon? A Watermelon? A Beat? Show us something being dropped!

Snacktime!

Donuts? M&M's? Bowl of grapes? something more exotic? Show us what you like to have for a snack.

May a moody baby doom a yam

Illustrate your favorite palindrome.
Some samples are below. A quick search on Google will list thousands of them.
  • Madam, I'm Adam
  • Too hot to hoot
  • Rise to vote, sir
  • Bob
  • Race fast, safe car
  • Pa's a sap
  • Ma is as selfless as I am
  • and so on, noosdna

Not Your Average Macro

All photo contests seem to have a "macro" category, but let's make it a bit more challenging. NO FLOWERS!!!! NO INSECTS!!!

Tiddlywinks and Hula Hoops

Years ago, in a world before video games and computers, Kids had to play with toys or games that didn't need to be plugged in or use batteries. Get creative and show us an example!

Liquidity

Water in a stream? Coffee in a pot? Bourbon in a glass? Pouring, flowing, or just sitting there, show us your favorite liquid.

Words, Words, Words

On side of a building, in a book, on a sign, show us the written word.

Racine

Show us something that represents Racine County, BUT, make it unique. Let's not see a bunch of snapshots of the Lighthouse.
  • Kringle?
  • Zoo?
  • Golden Rondelle?
  • Dremel?
